How Can You Turn Trash Into Treasure?

Four years ago Eco-Action, a student organization which I’m a part of, started a program called Trash or Treasure. Students are able to donate anything they don’t want or need anymore at the end of the year. All of the donations go to local SPUD (Student Programming for Urban Development) sites and to the Salvation Army. This year our donations went to Rachel’s Table, Better World Books (thanks to a book drive Peace Around the World, PAW, was doing) and the Salvation Army. During finals week myself and a few other Eco-Action members went from dorm to dorm collecting all the donations, here are some pictures of what we got!
